The United Carrier Registration (UCR) program is a federally mandated, annual state-administered registration program for interstate motor carriers. Motor carriers, private motor carriers, freight forwarders, leasing companies, and brokers based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or any other country that operate in interstate or international commerce in the Untied States must register under the UCR program through which, carriers pay UCR fees through their base states on behalf of all participating states. If you are an interstate carrier based in a non-participating state, you still MUST comply, and a base state will be assigned to you.

Heavy Highway Taxes 2290s
Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax Return or Form 2290 is a Federal Excise Tax imposed on vehicles operating in public highways with a gross weight of 55,000 pounds or more. Taxes are collected annually and are used for highway construction and maintenance.
Form 2290 must be filed for each month when a taxable vehicle is first used on public highways during the current period. Tax period begins on July 1 of current year and ends on June 30 of the following year. The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) Form 2290 must be filed by the last day of the month following the month of first use. The filing rules apply whether you are paying the tax or reporting suspension of the tax.

MCS-150
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires all entities under its jurisdiction to update their information every two years using the MCS-150 form.
Failure to complete a biennial update may result in deactivation of your US DOT Number and civil penalties of up to $1,000 per day, not to exceed $10,000.
Important: In order to avoid multiple filings, please disregard if you have already filed your Biennial Update.
